Design Release Engineer Role The Design Release Engineer is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for the design, development, and release of components and subsystems. Key Responsibilities: Design, specify, test, and validate parts for assigned vehicle families. Analyze and resolve failures produced by parts. Propose and obtain cost reductions inherent to these components. Change Management Perform changes or modifications to component parts of assigned vehicle families. Request and authorize required tests to systems, parts, and components. Evaluate assembly and operation tests of parts in assembly plants. Validation and Approval Determine and issue temporary or final approvals to part validations. Analyze and resolve malfunctions and durability failures of parts. Supplier Collaboration Develop parts with suppliers according to the 'Source Package' process. Benchmark components (performance, weight, cost efficiency). Other Responsibilities Support assembly and manufacturing plants in the use and application of specifications and designs. Approve or reject requests for temporary or definitive deviations to the product. Requirements: We seek individuals with the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, electro-mechanical, metallurgical, aerospace, or related) - 1-8 years of experience in the design of stamped components - Advanced conversational English - CAD Software proficiency (Nx, CATIA, Creo)
