Coordinate Procurement, Production Scheduling and Customer Service- Ensure that the production program is correctly scheduled, optimizing finished product inventory and manufacturing costs.- Conduct production planning and scheduling activities, ensuring efficient planning and optimizing resource utilization.- Coordinate sales and operations plan updates with the customer service manager. Effectively manage variations confirmed by customer service or due to manufacturing restrictions and confirm or agree on a new production plan, involving production and customer service.- Ensure that the agreed plans and parameters are correctly configured in SAP, for both work-in-process and finished product.- Develop, maintain, and communicate the 16-week production plan. Upload the production plan to SAP prior to running MRP. Monitor and manage finished product inventory levels.- Review the accuracy of finished product inventory. Escalate finished product inventory discrepancies in a timely manner. Monitor capacity against short- and long-term demand, establishing action plans if necessary.- Support new product launches or activities with a clear plan and transfer planning and scheduling activities.- Measure compliance with the production schedule in volume and mix (Schedule Attainment). Develop WIP inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excesses.
