**Summary of Job**The Tool Crib Supervisor is responsible for standardizing parts data, setting up tool Crib operations, and optimizing inventory management for the site. This role ensures consistency in part numbers, descriptions, and specifications, regardless of language or location. Additionally, the Lead deploys best-in-class inventory management methodologies, aligning parts ordering with planned preventive maintenance rather than solely historical consumption and safety stock. The objective is to reduce on-hand inventory costs while increasing parts availability and eliminating stockouts. Collaborating closely with IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functional areas, the Lead drives ERP (EAM) system enhancements and adoption, ensuring critical data accuracy and availability for effective asset management and maintenance planning.**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of critical spare parts- Lead cycle counting and annual physical inventories- Ensure all transactions are correctly logged in the system- Identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory- Work closely with maintenance planners and buyers to forecast needs**Educational Background**- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business Administration.**Desired Certifications**- APICS CPIM or CSCP- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)- Forklift or equipment handling (OSHA compliant)**Languages**- English**Knowledge and Compliance**- Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 55000 for asset management)- Safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, ANSI)- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S principles**Systems and Software**- CMMS: EAM- ERP/MRP Systems: BAAN and EAM- Advanced MS Excel and Power BI**Skills**- Inventory control and stock level optimization- Data cleansing and Enrichment- UNSPSC and Common Coding- Spare parts classification, criticality assessment, and cataloging- KPI development: E&O, stockout rates, inventory turns, lead times, 5-Why- Handling hazardous materials- Asset tagging and tracking technologies (RFID/barcode)- Strong leadership and people management- Attention to detail and high accuracy- Analytical and problem-solving mindset- Communication and cross-functional coordination (with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering)- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks**Experience**- **3-5 years** in inventory management, MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), or tool crib operations- Familiarity with CMMS and EAM- Experience supervising or leading warehouse/tool crib staff- Experience in manufacturingTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSueldo: $30,000.00 - $36,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Vacaciones adicionales o permisos con goce de sueldoExperiência:- Inventarios: 3 años (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
