Director of operations

A leading real estate and hospitality company in Los Cabos is looking for an experienced and bilingual Director of Operations to oversee multi-departmental functions and drive operational excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments: real estate, hospitality, accounting, HR, marketing, legal, and closings. Provide strategic leadership and ensure alignment and accountability among department heads. Lead onboarding and training programs for new employees, ensuring high standards of performance and service. Review contracts, leases, and transaction documentation to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams on budget analysis, financial reporting, and internal controls. Manage CRM systems, ensuring accuracy, automation, and adoption across teams. Support compliance with operational procedures and help implement company-wide best practices. Act as liaison between ownership, external partners, and internal departments. Drive cross-functional initiatives and lead special projects that improve systems and workflows. Qualifications: Fluency in English and Spanish is required (written and spoken). Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in real estate, hospitality, or a service-based organization. Strong background in finance and/or accounting (CPA or equivalent degree a plus). Experience managing CRM platforms. High level of organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience reviewing contracts and handling operational risk. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage diverse teams.
