Senior Innovation Leader

Job Description: Key Responsibilities Develop innovative solutions to enhance customer and market growth within defined parameters, manufacturing capability, and regulatory compliance. Manage projects/briefs as allocated, ensuring timely delivery of results. Coordinate launches of new products and run trials at manufacturing sites. Provide customers with optimized products by understanding market dynamics, manufacturing capabilities, and ingredient restrictions. Support the R&D manager in day-to-day team operations and assist with organizing team meetings and training sessions. Lead launches of new and innovative products utilizing appropriate technologies. Build relationships with key personnel through visits, presentations, and attending trials in customer factories. Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver products from concept to launch within agreed timeframes. Technical Competencies & Key Job Deliverables Expertise in Kerry Technologies within a specific Technology or Applications into Dairy EUM. Creative and Innovative Thinking, Scientific and Technical Expertise. Customer-facing role working with leadership to develop competitive in-cost solutions meeting customer and business requirements in Dairy EUM. Lead R&D contact with key customers, building strong relationships providing excellent service in terms of concept development, sample delivery, product presentations, and process support. Knowledge of Dairy market trends, restrictions, and customer requirements & process. Operation support, maintain records & documentation, Support customer presentations, NPD to scale up in factory. Conducts lab & pilot plant trials for optimization of current product. Qualifications and Skills BSc in Food Science or equivalent as minimum. Higher degrees advantageous. 7 – 10 years' work experience in RD teams. (Minimum of which 3 must be within Dairy and/or Dairy Beverage industry) Job complexity: Complex Managing the day-to-day work of Technologists within the team Provides coaching and mentoring to other technologists.
