The Operational Buyer is responsible for performing all purchasing activities within certain material/service fields with the objective of optimal supply and generating a maximum profit contribution in compliance with the company's policies and purchasing guidelines. This position is reporting to the Operational Purchasing Team Lead of Region/Subregion. The role is carrying out all purchasing activities with a medium degree of difficulty and complexity, in the area of goods/services for which the job holder is responsible for. Qualifications: Strong business acumen. Stakeholder partnership knowledge. Additional language (German or Portuguese) is a strong plus. German or Portuguese language would be a plus Commercial contracting experience is highly appreciated. Project and time management experience is a strong plus. Intercultural management experience is a plus. Knowledge of IT tools (SAP, Office package), methods, and analytics is a strong plus. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced level of English (interviews will be conducted in English). At least 3 years of experience in SCM, Spare Parts, or Purchasing. Previous experience in Purchasing processes / Purchase to Pay. Advanced negotiation skills
