As a Manager, Tax at RXO, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax matters in Mexico, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, optimizing tax strategies, and supporting financial planning initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of Mexican tax laws, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.What your day-to-day will look like:Tax Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate filing of Mexico legal entity tax returns, VAT reports, and other required filings in accordance with Mexican tax regulations.Electronic Invoicing (CFDI): Ensure compliance with Mexico’s mandatory electronic invoicing (Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet - CFDI) system for all transactions.Tax Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to optimize the company's financial performance while ensuring compliance.Audit & Risk Management: Manage tax audits, liaise with tax authorities, and mitigate potential risks.Transfer Pricing: Oversee transfer pricing policies and documentation to comply with local and international regulations.Advisory & Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (finance, HR, operations) to provide tax guidance on business initiatives.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance tax processes and ensure the adoption of best practices.Legislative Monitoring: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the company.Partner with the U.S. Corporate tax team to prepare reporting for upper management relating to effective tax rate, cash taxes, and other special projects.Mentor and train tax team members to become significant contributors, helping them grow in confidence, knowledge, and experience.What you’ll need to excel:At a minimum, you’ll need:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in Mexican tax compliance and strategyStrong knowledge of Mexican tax laws, VAT, transfer pricing, and corporate tax regulationsExperience managing tax audits and interacting with tax authoritiesProficiency in Microsoft ExcelProficiency in Spanish and EnglishIt’d be great if you also have:Advanced degree in Accounting or TaxationCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or relevant tax certification preferredExperience with Oracle and/or HFMExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsWe Offer:Competitive Salary ( share your expectations)Monday to Friday Office hoursSan Pedro Garza García OfficeBenefits:30-day Christmas Bonus65% Vacation BonusSavings FundMeal aidsFood and Grocery TicketsTransportation aidHealth Insurance ( family )Life InsuranceDental Insurance (family)Optical Insurance (family)In this role, you’ll be supported by a passionate team motivated by fast-paced innovation and the desire to deliver for customers.
