We are looking for Manager of Accounting Finance will oversee the financial health and integrity of the organization by leading accounting, budgeting, and financial control activities. This role involves managing a team across accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, tax compliance, and financial planning functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with organizational goals. The position requires extensive collaboration with other departments and branches to ensure streamlined operations and alignment with the organization’s overall strategy set forth by Headquarters. This person will report directly to the Director of AFC NAFTA and to the group´s CFO and hierarchically to the E80 Group Director in Mexico. Responsibilities: Accounting: Assigns and audits the work of the department and manages general staff in terms of role, responsibilities, appraisals, incentives etc. Introduces/implements new policies and procedures in accordance with corporate business strategies. Responsible for company’s compliance with Federal and State legal/tax/environmental statutory requirements in Mexico, including corporate books and resolutions. Manages relationship with administrative/tax/legal consultants/auditors. Provides leadership to directly reported employees through effective communications, coaching, training and development. Oversees the financial planning and administrative requirements of new equipment and customer service projects sold in the local market. Leads initiatives to improve operational efficiency in the department. Prepares financial and operational reports that serve the business in taking better coordinated decisions. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records. Coordinate and manage annual or extraordinary audit processes, including liaising with external auditors. Financial and Controlling: Manages budget and control expenses effectively. Develops a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism which includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs. Ensures reporting deadlines are met, and the output of information is timely, reliable and informative. Delivers to HQ the Reporting Package based on Group Controlling Procedures and Standards, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Projects Profitability Analysis through Contribution Margin, fixed costs gap analysis, overdue analysis, ICO reconciliations. Attends Executive Meetings for performance analysis and action plans to be reported company leadership. Supports Corporate Controlling Team in the preparation of the annual budget and targets. Oversee the implementation of accounting policies and the interpretation of new standards or amendments. Directly manages, implements or develops relationships with local financial institutions (banks, leasing institutions, governmental entities etc.). Supervises correct fund management, including developing short- and medium-term financial planning for the HQ and monitors overdue receivables. Supervises inventory, receivables, payable to optimize cash flow. Supports sales staff during negotiation in reviewing financial and risk management issues (payments, warranty, guarantees, penalty, liquidated damages). Participate in strategic planning initiatives, providing financial insights and projections. Support business decision making through financial analysis and reporting. Support in managing financial risk including currency and credit. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Requirements: Experience of at least 5 years in a similar role. Experience of leading a team of at least 10 people. Knowledge of corporate accounting practices. Knowledge of legal accounting and taxes requirements in México. Strong leadership, organizational and communications skills. Analytic capacity and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English. Italian will be a plus.
