Material Planner

**Role Summary**:Manage the daily or long term raw material on project basisMaterial shortage reviewManage VMI inventoryManage the parameter settings in ERP systemCoordinate buyers for the Project material procurement. And provide project material schedule to PM.Daily PR release and concerned material report preparation Manage OSMI material**Responsibilities & Requirements**: Monitor and control inventory to minimize costs and meet both production and customer needs.Manage the procurement/purchasing activities to insure on-time shipments at or below targeted material costs.Develop and maintain systems to establish and track material/component cost to meet targeted goals.Direct warehouse operations to assure proper storage, accurate and timely distribution and asset control.Develop and maintain receiving, inspection and shipping systems that assure quality and accurate specification objectives are met.Develop the departmental personnel to increase efficiency and improve retention and skills.Work with other managers and corporate management to implement and utilize company contracts, recommendations and programs both domestically and internationally.Conduct negotiations and place orders, when appropriate, in compliance with existing company policies and procedures.Monitor primary Suppliers for compliance and effectiveness.**Preferred Experience / Skills**:University degree/College diploma on Materials Management or Business Administration.
