Join to apply for the Grid Technology Proposal Specialist role at Siemens Energy 6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants A Snapshot of Your Day We are seeking a highly motivated, well-organized individual to join Siemens Energy’s Technical Sales Team within Grid Technologies Services. The Lead Estimator/Proposal Specialist will work with Siemens Energy sales teams and customers to develop proposals for maintenance contracts, construction, and operation and maintenance contracts for substations. This role supports Service bids/tenders/proposals for GIS and EPC projects, mainly in brownfield environments. You will collaborate with account managers, Business Units, and other Siemens divisions to develop strategies and scope of work. Our service offerings focus on transmission substations, maintaining key components, entire substations, and turnkey projects. How You’ll Make An Impact Develop proposals for services including transformer, breaker, GIS/AIS maintenance, and LTSA for substations and assets. Collaborate with marketing to support sales activities. Utilize customer relationship management software (CRM-Salesforce) effectively. Support leadership with voice of customer (VOC) data to inform product development and service offerings. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering, Business, or related; Electrical Engineering is a plus. 8-10 years of experience in estimating utility-focused construction and services; GIS technical skills and EPC experience are highly desirable. Ability to review specifications, scopes, and drawings; strong time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~10%). Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets and forming winning bids.
