In Mexico it has the divisions of: Daimler Truck, Daimler Truck Buses and Daimler Truck Financial Services.In our people we can reflect our corporate values: Passion, Respect, Integrity and Discipline and we are looking for highly committed people to join the group in an environment of diversity and constant challenges.Objective of the position: The Environmental Manager will report to the applicable Facilities & Assembly Manager at the Daimler Truck Manufacturing facility also is the environmental representative of the entire Santiago Complex.Scope includes all facilities centers in the site (CiW, PNT, Assembly, Logistics, Off line, CTS, Transporter & upcoming projects).This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of the environmental department including assets and resources while developing and driving the team to continuous success. Review, validate and document all the legal compliance of Environmental Management System under the ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14064 and all standards applicable to the Plant. The Environmental Manager will oversee multiple shifts and Technicians while supporting Santiago ESG strategy.Responsible for implementation of environmental policies, certifications, initiatives and engaging with vendors and contractors.Perform the coordination of environmental programs, environmental planning, impact assessment, inspection of environmental facilities or systems, the design, conduct and distribution to the whole Santiago site.An environmental manager reviews and evaluates existing data, facilities and systems, is the employee in charge of the evaluation of environmental issues, problems, and new or revised regulations. Must attend audits and compliance management, environmental management in areas such as water and waste recycling process.- Strong knowledge of: Legal requirements STPS, SSA, Environment, Civil protection, ISO 14001, 14064 & 50001- Emergency response, Hazardous waste release, Risk analysis & Leadership abilities- Environmental Management- Compliance with Regulations- Knowledge of Production Process- Continuous Improvement- Soft Skills:- Decision Making- Planning and Organization- Effective Communication- Strategic Financial Vision- Project Management- Academic Knowledge: Chemical, Environment or industrial engineer, 3 years of experience in similar activities.- Location: Santiago Plant | Estado de México- At Daimler Truck we are united in our purpose “We work for all who keep the world moving”. We value the individual strengths of our employees, because these lead to the best team performance and thus to the success of our company.- Main Functions:- Review, validate and document all the legal compliance of Environmental Management System under the ISO 14001, ISO 5001, ISO 14064 and all standards applicable to the Plant.- Manage legal compliance and environmental procedures to environmental authorities such as SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, State & Local governance dependencies and all others applicable to the Plant.- Design a methodology for monitoring environmental KPIs for investment projects due to adaptations to existing facilities even new buildings.- Design and implement projects focused on improve the environmental KPIs and maintain a stable operation and optimal conditions of our water treatment buildings.- Lead Santiago ESG strategy.- Manage and review suppliers and contractors work regarding with hazardous and no hazardous material disposal management and water treatment equipment.- Developed and implemented training for all Santiago site operating personnel, according to environmental internal plan and aligned to the Truck Operations System.- Lead the review processes for plant strategy to ensure sustainability for Daimler Truck Mexico.- Internal advising on environmental aspects for the effective management of risks and regulatory issues, related to the handling of hazardous and non-hazard
