JR-202514935 - Design Release Eng Lead Responsibilities: Lead a small team of designers, directing their efforts. Manage studio activities in the absence of senior management. Create perspective sketches and renderings in scale and full size to communicate new design ideas. Develop 2D and 3D mock-ups of proposed design solutions. Collaborate with studio engineers, modelers, designers, and fabrication personnel to develop new ideas in both 2D and 3D. Negotiate design criteria with engineers and understand project timelines for task completion. Provide guidance on design sections to program sculptors and engineers for creating full-size and scale models. Work cross-functionally on a regular basis. Integrate subsystems into complete full-size design proposals, adhering to and developing best practices. Participate in the selection of new employees. Train, develop, and evaluate employee performance, including conducting reviews. Required Skills: Education: Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering. English: Advanced Intermediate (Conversational). Experience: At least 3 years in mechanical design, problem-solving, project, and team leadership. Software: Unigraphics or NX, Technomathrics.
