JR-202514933 Sr. Controls Manufacturing & Safety AMR Objective: Responsible for the execution/develop of manufacturing controls. Work will be performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.Responsibilities: • New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff)• Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement• Staying abreast of new controls technologies (PLC, HMI, networks, robot, vision)of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts• Managing deliveries to program timing milestones• Providing project report outs to senior management• Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.)• Providing technical direction to less experienced controls engineers.• Designing and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems• Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology Required Skills: Education: Mechatronics, Electrical, Control and Automation Engineering / Master's Degree in Electronics English: Advanced Intermediate (Conversational) Experience: 2 years in programming Software: TIA Portal, Servomotors, Knowledge of SICK programming and/or configuration for safety & PLC Siemens.
