We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Manager to join our team in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the company/'s financial success. ResponsibilitiesDirect and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Oversee the budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts and reports to senior management Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improvement Manage cash flow and treasury operations, optimizing working capital management Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations, ensuring organizational compliance QualificationsBachelor/'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required) CPA, CMA, or MBA (preferred) Minimum of 4 to 7 years in similar position, preferably in the hospitality industry In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Experience with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing accounting teams Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is highly desirable Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements in Mexico Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving financial goals What Is In It For YouLearning programs through our Academies Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities Our Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit, and promote diverse talent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
