Electromechanical Technician

Key Responsibilities: Install, calibrate, and maintain automated equipment at customer sites. Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with automated systems. Perform on-site repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed. Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of automated equipment. Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults. Maintain detailed records of service activities, including maintenance logs and repair reports. Recommend improvements to service processes and equipment design. Requirements: Associate's degree, Technical degree, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with automated equipment. Experience in Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC controls platforms. Experience in DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications platforms. Electrical troubleshooting skills including wiring, AC power, AC motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels. Knowledge of servo drives, PC controllers, DC power supplies, and optical devices (e.g., encoders, photoeyes, etc.). Knowledge of automated equipment, preferably automated material handling systems.
