Role Summary: The AI and Innovation Traineeship is a 1 year assignment aimed at building and scaling select AI & innovation projects. This includes scaling up internal & external facing avatar projects to additional geographies and helping key AI capabilities reach steady state (general release). The role demands building a keen business understanding as well as working across functions to drive innovation with clear timelines. It is essential that you have more than one year remaining before earning your bachelor's degree.Project Objectives:Responsive avatar project expansion: Set up an IBU governance and map the process for launching Alba in other geographies and brands. Identify key geographies for scaling and execute the scale-up plan. Build the central OCM package & playbook for an effective avatar launch.IBU Sales Avatar: Expand solution to new use cases beyond coaching and selling avatars. Localize solution for key countries by working with local teams.AI Projects General Release Planning: Work with key stakeholders to move key projects to general release and institutionalize them as key capabilities.Innovation@Lilly: Identify key opportunities in AI and innovation that can be the next big bets for Lilly. Propose, plan and initiate execution of selected projects.Metrics for Success:External Avatar Launces: Number of planned country-brand combinations given responsibility for and subsequently launched in the duration of the internship.Sales Avatar Uptake: Projected v/s actual number of countries where coaching and selling solutions are rolled out and localized.Projects Moved To General Release: Number of projects assigned and moved to general release, or having made substantial documented progress towards general release for early stage projects.Innovation Scouting: AI driven opportunities identified and proposed with concrete business justification. Additional weightage to projects that are undertaken.Preferred Profile of Candidate:Experience: Having a background in management education with a focus on marketing or strategy.Skills: Demonstrated interest in AI technologies and their business applications, exceptional communication and presentation abilities, very goal-oriented approach on delivering tangible outcomes, and a proven capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Attributes: Motivated, innovative thinker, and results-focused with an interest in using technology to achieve business success.Which Skills will the assignment allow the candidate to develop?AI Literacy: Understand AI technologies and their applications in a business context.Project Management: Acquire skills in managing projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.Stakeholder Engagement: Improve abilities in engaging and influencing key stakeholders, both internally and externally.Innovation and Problem-Solving: Develop a mindset of innovation and creative problem-solving by identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions.
