Role Responsibilities This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mexico Logistics Coordinator at Sycomp. The role is located in Mexico City, Mexico, with some work from home flexibility. The Mexico Logistics Coordinator responsibilities include: Act as the primary point of contact for all Mexico shipments Manage relationships with local brokers to ensure we have partners knowledgeable in import/export of IT products Coordinate with Sales and local brokers to ensure smooth and timely customs process for imports/exports Assist sales in reviewing compliance requirements for potential shipments Provide accurate quotes for VAT, Duties, and Shipping Costs for imports/exports/local shipments Monitor and maintain customer profiles, including addresses, shipping terms, and special instructions Coordinate order allocations with local warehouses Generate reports and communicate order progress, troubleshoot PO concerns, shipping, packing, and invoicing issues Arrange domestic and import/export bookings with carriers and ensure that documentation is complete/accurate Continuously refine and improve local product transport processes Maintain compliance standards at all times including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements. Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency. Qualifications 3+ years experience managing imports into Mexico Strong Communication and Customer Service skills Organizational abilities and attention to detail Knowledge of Mexico logistics regulations and customs procedures Fluency in Spanish and English Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
