Container Inventory Specialist

Job Title: Container Management Leader Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Container Management Leader to oversee the efficient management of container levels, inventory, and equipment maintenance. Main Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate inventory of container levels based on forecasts and business trends, ensuring timely coordination of equipment evacuations as necessary. Monitor the status of all equipment undergoing maintenance to guarantee procedures align with company standards. Keep system records up-to-date to facilitate optimal allocation of equipment to customers. Achieve established KPIs and foster strong relationships with assigned suppliers. Ensure PO's are accurately maintained in the system to support efficient supplier payment processes. Verify that all equipment is in proper working condition according to company policies. Request and follow up on minor and major equipment repairs, ensuring they meet company standards. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Empty without movements. Container (first-in, first-out). EDI Depots without delays. Approval PO's and maintains SAP clean. Requirements: Academic education: Bachelor's Degree, preferred (Transport Engineering, International Trade, etc.). Experience: 4-5 years in similar position. Experience in Container Shipping industry. Experience managing teams. Systems: SAP. Languages: Fluent in English. Excel and Outlook: Intermediate - advance level. Certification: IICL desirable. Leadership skills. Management skills. Teamwork. Organized. Resilient. Results oriented. Work under pressure.
