Inventory Specialist – Cellphone Industry Job Summary: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining accurate inventory levels of mobile devices, accessories, and spare parts across stores, warehouses, and distribution centers. This role ensures the right products are available at the right time to support sales, reduce losses, and improve operational efficiency in the cellphone retail industry. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate inventory records of cellphones, accessories, and parts in ERP and POS systems. • Perform regular stock audits and reconcile physical counts with system data. • Track product movement across stores, warehouses, and service centers. • Analyze inventory reports to identify trends, slow-moving items, and potential stock shortages. • Coordinate inventory transfers and replenishment orders based on sales performance and demand. • Support product launches and new model rollouts by ensuring adequate stock availability. • Monitor IMEI-based tracking and serialized inventory accuracy. • Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate reporting. • Assist with loss prevention by investigating discrepancies or inventory variances. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. • 2–4 years of experience in inventory control or supply chain, preferably in the cellphone or electronics industry. • Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, or similar). • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive. • Excellent communication and coordination skills. • Intermediate to advanced English level (spoken and written). Preferred Qualifications: • Experience handling serialized or IMEI-based inventory. • Familiarity with retail operations and cellphone product lifecycles. • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
