T24 Temenos Administrator

Job Title: T24 Temenos Location: Mexico Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Temenos T24 Administrator to manage, monitor, and maintain our core banking systems. This role ensures optimal performance, uptime, and security of the T24 environment, including system configurations, patching, user access, and support for development and production instances. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day administration and maintenance of Temenos T24 (Transact) environments – including core banking modules, user configurations, and technical parameter settings. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with technical and functional teams for timely resolution. Administer TAFJ / jBASE platforms and manage application servers, including patch updates and deployments. Coordinate T24 upgrades, environment refreshes, and backup/recovery activities. Manage and maintain T24 user profiles, roles, permissions, and access rights securely. Support integration activities related to T24 interfaces (web services, APIs) with third-party systems. Ensure disaster recovery readiness and assist with BCP testing and documentation. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system logs, and change records. Work with vendors (e.g., Temenos support) to resolve system-related issues. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 1–5 years of experience in Temenos T24 / Transact administration. Strong knowledge of T24 architecture, application structure, and core modules. Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments, including scripting (Shell, Bash). Familiarity with Oracle/PostgreSQL or other RDBMS technologies. Exposure to TAFJ, jBASE, and application server administration. Experience in handling T24 upgrade cycles, environment setup, and release management. Ability to work independently and respond to critical system incidents. Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in banking or financial services domain. Knowledge of ITIL processes, Agile environments, or DevOps pipelines. Familiarity with cloud deployment models (AWS/Azure) is a plus. Temenos certification (TLC) or other T24 administrator-specific certifications. Work Environment May require availability during off-hours for deployments or support. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and infrastructure.
