Electrical Solutions Specialist - System Design and Integration

Job Opportunity The Electrical Solutions Specialist - System Design and Integration is a key role in the Infrastructure Solutions team, playing a crucial part in the early engagement phases of customer programs. This position requires expertise in Electrical engineering as well as structural, mechanical, controls and associated disciplines to provide system level solutions to customers. Duties and Responsibilities Reviewing and understanding RFP and tender documents Understanding customer requirements provided by Sales and Marketing teams Developing electrical system architecture and equipment concepts Collaborating with other technical disciplines (architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, fire protection) Technical project coordination with customers and suppliers Communicating with customers to propose best solutions Making technical proposals for Vertiv modular solutions data centers Providing electrical design documents Problem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutions Requirements Proficient in Electrical power system design Good CAD capabilities including representation of layouts and electrical schematic diagrams Dimensioning and specification of electrical equipment and installations Knowledge of short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools Active English language skills Solution-based thinking incorporating Mechanical and Electrical components Solid communication skills for working across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams PC skills: active user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel, Word, AutoCAD This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Electrical engineering and excellent problem-solving skills.
