Job Title: SAP Production Planning Consultant Are you an experienced professional looking for a challenging role in production planning? Do you have a strong understanding of SAP software and its applications? With this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity. You will work with various modules within SAP PP, including capacity planning, material requirements planning, and shop floor control, to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs. Responsibilities: Create detailed production schedules, allocating resources (labor, materials, machines), and optimizing production sequences to minimize lead times. Develop and implement production plans based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity. Analyze production capacity and determine resource requirements to meet production goals. Identify potential bottlenecks and develop solutions to optimize capacity utilization. Calculate material requirements for production orders and ensure timely availability of raw materials. Manage inventory levels, conduct physical counts, and update records. Create and release production orders in SAP. Monitor production progress, track production costs, and report on performance. Monitor and control production activities on the shop floor. Manage material movements and ensure timely delivery of finished goods. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize production processes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 6+ years of experience in SAP software. Strong understanding of SAP Production Planning modules, functionalities, and configurations. Experience in production planning processes, methodologies, and best practices. Ability to analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
