Grow with Us: Lead a High-Performing Business Development Team We are seeking an experienced Business Development Team Lead to join our Latin America team in Mexico City. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint across the Americas. The company we work for provides innovative AI-powered data solutions tailored for the food and beverage industry. Your responsibilities will include leading and growing a high-performing Business Development team focused on outbound prospecting and lead qualification. You will be based in Mexico City and manage both existing and new team members, overseeing recruiting, training, performance coaching, and contributing to the team's strategy and execution. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a startup mindset who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments. About the Role: Manage and coach a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in Mexico. Recruit, onboard, and scale a high-performing local team. Own the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance management, and career development. Drive outbound prospecting strategy through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. Conduct training sessions and performance reviews to continuously improve team output. Monitor key metrics and team KPIs; develop improvement plans as needed. Collaborate closely with AEs, marketing, and product teams to align pipeline generation. Contribute to defining and evolving the BDR team's processes and culture. Report on team progress to global sales leadership and provide operational feedback. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development roles. Minimum 2 full cycles as a BDR Team Lead, managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle. 2+ years of experience leading BDR or outbound sales teams. Fluent English communication (written and verbal). Proven success in building and scaling BDR teams from scratch. Strong command of outbound sales tools and tactics (calls, emails, social prospecting). Experience working in startups or tech companies with a fast-growth trajectory. Ability to lead operational processes and manage HR matters independently. Based in Mexico City and willing to work on-site. Comfortable collaborating across time zones with distributed teams.
