Job Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage our pricing strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing market data, sales data, and historical selling prices to ensure optimal balance of profitability and competitiveness. Key Responsibilities: Obtain and validate competitive intelligence from online sources. Coordinate the maintenance of our price system. Complete and file reports for each pricing action. Communicate price changes to Sales and Customer Service teams. Conduct reviews of price rationalization, including BOM/Kits, Supersessions, Customer Groups, and margin corrections. Develop and assess improvements to the price update process. Tactical Pricing Process: Manage regional prices to ensure profitability, competitiveness, and maximum sales opportunities. Receive and review Regional Price Recommendations (RPRs). Validate submitted data and documentation. Analyze sales data, historical selling prices, and margins. Determine appropriate regional and/or customer prices. Provide guidance to Sales teams on DAF (Direction, Approach, and Follow-up). Coordinate maintenance of the price system. Communicate price changes to Sales and Customer Service teams. Complete and file reports for each pricing action. Maintain the RPR database. Track and report special pricing activity. Develop and assess improvements to the tactical pricing process. Additional Responsibilities: Troubleshoot price-related questions. Determine and coordinate pricing for new items (Master Price Records). Provide net price files as needed. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and responsible professional with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Analytical and detail-oriented, they should possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English. Required Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Access. Ability to manage and manipulate data related to competitor part numbers and prices. Preferred Skills: Marketing Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
