As a Sales Manager Projects at MIDEA, you would typically oversee projects aimed at driving sales growth and market expansion for MIDEA's products, which often include HVAC systems. Your responsibilities would include developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners, analyzing market trends and customer feedback, and ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded. The role would require strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, a deep understanding of the products and markets, and the ability to navigate competitive landscapes effectively. Responsibilities and Objectives • Sales Strategy Development: Creating and implementing sales strategies aligned with company goals and market conditions. • Project Management: Overseeing projects aimed at expanding sales territories, launching new products, or entering new markets. • Team Leadership: Managing and motivating a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets. • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. • Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and threats, and adjusting strategies accordingly. • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitoring sales performance metrics, analyzing data, and preparing reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align strategies and achieve overall business objectives. • Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing sales budgets, forecasting sales volumes, and managing resources effectively. • Training and Development: Providing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities. • Compliance and Ethics: Ensuring all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. • Among other duties as assigned. Experience & Background • +8 years of working experience in Sales Management Projects or a related field. • HVAC sales experience and knowledge is required. Degree and Language • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related • Advanced English. • Master is a Plus. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Technical Knowledge of Air Conditioning: Understanding of various air conditioning systems, including their components, operation, and maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues related to air conditioning units and systems. • VRF Selection Software: Proficiency in using software tools specifically designed for Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system selection. • Chillers: Expertise in the operation and maintenance of chillers, including both air-cooled and water-cooled types. • Air Handlers: Knowledge of air handling units (AHUs), including their design, operation, and maintenance. • Pipeline Management: Experience in managing and overseeing the pipeline of projects or sales, from initial lead generation to final closing. • Intermediate Excel: Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and modeling. • Product Knowledge: A thorough understanding of MIDEA's products, their features, benefits, and competitive positioning in the market. • Sales Techniques: Proficiency in sales strategies, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals, tailored to the consumer electronics and home appliances industry. • Market Understanding: Insight into market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape in the home appliances and HVAC sectors. • Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and oversee sales projects, including new product launches, market expansions, and promotional campaigns. • Data Analysis: Competence in analyzing sales data, interpreting trends, forecasting sales volumes, and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies. • Customer Relationship Management: Proficiency in CRM systems to manage customer information, track sales activities, and enhance customer engagement. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product information, negotiate terms, and build rapport with clients and stakeholders. • Budgeting and Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting processes, financial metrics, and cost management principles relevant to sales operations. • Ethics and Compliance: Adherence to ethical standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements governing sales practices in the consumer electronics industry.
