Interior Components Design Specialist

We are seeking a Design Engineer to support vehicle programs in the development of interior components such as garnish trim, overhead systems, instrument panel cargo flooring, and acoustic elements. The role involves creating high-quality design solutions using Siemens NX and Teamcenter, ensuring integration and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop interior components with attention to aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability. Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T specifications. Participate in design reviews and integration forums. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with program requirements. Document design concepts, risks, and performance evaluations. Support change management and revision control processes. Requirements Junior Design Engineer (Entry-Level): 1 to 4 years of experience in design engineering. Proficiency in Siemens NX and SAE wiring design fundamentals. Strong English communication skills. Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design preferred. Senior Design Engineer: 5+ years of experience in automotive product design. Advanced Siemens NX skills including electrical routing. Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Strong English communication skills. Experience with Altair SimSolid and CAE principles.
