Thanks to our global experience and strong technical knowledge we can develop and support from the original concept to the design, product development, production systems and implementation.What are we looking for:#We want your talentALTEN Mexico is looking for Project Manager/Quality Specialist Mid and SeniorRemote modality with availability to occasionally attend the plant / Saltillo or TolucaGeneral Activities:The Project Quality Specialist is responsible for developing and executing standardization of manufacturing quality enablers. Must be a creative problem solver, proactive and steadfast in the identification and resolution vehicle quality. The Engineer will have experience in managing cross-functionally and possess a broad knowledge of the entire automotive engineering, manufacturing and quality landscape and present outstanding teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.Activities:- Performing root cause analysis of quality issues- Recommending and implement cost-effective permanent corrective actions.- Analyze quality data from internal and external indicators.- Manage engineering changes working with a cross-functional team to ensure timely execution.- Conduct product evaluation tests to ensure robustness of product or process change before full implementation and will be the point of contact for engineering quality and all product-related incidents.- Ensure the delivery of third-party quality metrics.- Plan, prioritize, set goals and manage multiple projects in a technical and business environment.- Support meetings at all levels of the company, including senior leadership.- Establish partnerships both internally and externally.- Represent the Voice of the Customer to the platform teams and contribute or drive team success by clarifying expectation and minimizing political hurdles.- Audit of vehicle assembly plantsRequirements:Education/Experience:Bachelor of Science in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace/Aeronautical2+ years of EXPSoft skills:- Effective verbal and written communication skills- Self-directed- team oriented with demonstrated planning/problem-solving skills- Assertive and ambitious nature- Results oriented- Motivated to learn new principles and ideas- Motivated to make a positive impact in the work environment and on the quality of the products- producedTechnical Skills:- Experience/ Knowledge using advanced problem-solving tools (Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Design of Experiments, etc.).- Desirable experience using SAQ (sustentability suppliers evaluation).- Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information.- Experience in Quality/Standardization.- Experience with having cross-functional responsibilities in a lean organization.- Previous experience managing Engineering Changes.- Quality background (Experience in Quality problem analysis).- Experience in OEMS is a plus.- Experience in the Automotive sector.- Advanced English.
