Job Description The DRE (Design & Release Engineer) oversees design and develop automotive components for automotive products and release designs in the PLM systems according to the engineering and functional requirements, design standards, and provide and perform validation plants and testing warranty high quality standards forInterior componest (Trim & lighting,seats, cockpit). The DRE supports product development from concept design phases to product launching.RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, validate and release automotive products and projects. Work with cross-functional teams that include suppliers, engineering team, quality, etc. to study functionality and execute engineering changes. Provide support for 3D and 2D development of components. Interact with global teams to make vehicle design more efficient, meeting quality standards, estimated costs and functionality. Executing GD&T, Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and root cause analysis. Participate in discussions related to planning, reduction of Dangerous Mechanical Conditions and Benchmarking. Development and validation of prototypes or components. Bill of Material development.BASIC REQUIREMENTS: BS in engineering (mechanical, aeronautical, automotive, structural, etc.). 1 to 5 years of experience in the design or engineering products }8Interior components) Knowledge of the manufacturing processes used to manufacture the mentioned components. Proficient communication in advanced English language. Experience and knowledge in CAD systems (NX/Teamcenter or Catia). Experience with GD&T, (DFMEA), (DVP&R) and root cause analysis.
