Leadership Opportunity for Financial Operations Executive

Senior Controller About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Senior Controller to lead financial operations at our manufacturing facility. This critical leadership role oversees all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, working closely with group finance and local operational teams Manage statutory and group audits, including partnership with external auditors and internal stakeholders Maintain proper costing methodologies, inventory valuation, and physical inventory controls Monitor and optimize working capital, focusing on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory turnover Lead cash flow forecasting and management, identifying risks and recommending mitigation actions Analyze and monitor inventory levels, obsolescence, and cost trends; drive inventory efficiency and accuracy with operations Implement and enforce internal controls, ensuring segregation of duties, risk mitigation, authorization, and approval workflows, and vendor/customer onboarding protocols Coordinate tax filings, regulatory compliance, and external reporting with advisors Integrate financial systems and banking controls in line with group treasury and ERP policies Prepare and review budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis, explaining deviations and proposing corrective actions Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Mexican public accountant certification strongly preferred Minimum 4 years Big Four audit experience, followed by hands-on controllership experience in manufacturing Strong knowledge of IFRS and Mexican GAAP Excellent ERP and Excel skills, MS D365 F&O experience preferred Experience coordinating statutory and group audits Proven success leading finance teams in industrial settings Understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements in global organizations Comfortable working in dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders High integrity, strong accountability, and solutions-oriented mindset Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English Strong leadership presence with collaborative attitude and sense of urgency Why This Role?
