ABOUT THE ROLE This position supports all company activities and implements the Corporate Security Policy in the Latin America region. It is responsible for proactively identifying security risks and collaborating with local, country, and regional management to evaluate and address these risks. The role involves mentoring local managers with security responsibilities. The position reports to the Senior Director of Global Security, with a dotted line to regional management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage security goals, planning, and implementation strategies across countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela. Develop and enforce policies, procedures, standards, and training to protect employees, brands, facilities, information, and assets from risks such as assault, theft, tampering, and unauthorized disclosure. Design and evaluate security protocols for effectiveness, cost, and alignment with global security objectives. Investigate incidents including loss, theft, and fraud. Support crisis management and regional security teams. Conduct security assessments and collaborate with site management to identify local security needs in compliance with laws and corporate policies. Audit security standards for suppliers, co-manufacturers, and logistics providers. Gather and analyze intelligence to anticipate risks impacting employees and operations. Assist in developing security budgets for each site. Prepare security plans for expatriates addressing housing, transportation, and safety risks. Report security assessments and recommendations to senior management. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in security activities. Maintain relationships with government agencies, law enforcement, and international security organizations. Work in remote and physically demanding environments. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in a corporate, law enforcement, or private security setting. Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking). Experience conducting investigations across multiple countries. Knowledge of VIP support and journey management in high-risk areas. First Aid/Trauma training. Understanding of supply chain security and CPTED principles. Project management skills. Experience with security systems design and investigations into counterfeiting. PREFERRED SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS Residency of over 15 years in the region. Certifications such as CFE or CPP. JOB REQUIREMENTS Full-time position with approximately 30% travel. Ability to travel to high-risk locations on short notice. This position is not eligible for relocation.
