Transnational Manufacturing Company is looking for: Managing Director Summary: The Managing Director is responsible for overseeing all activities of the company in the country. They drive future development, serve as an accessible and present leader with strong operational skills, and aim for excellence. The Managing Director is also the legal representative of the company in the country. Requirements: Academic background, preferably in engineering or sciences, with a degree in business administration 10+ years of experience in a responsible role within an international manufacturing company, preferably in the packaging industry with knowledge of plastic injection processes Experience in international manufacturing, especially in the automotive industry, is desirable Strong technical background and experience guiding innovations Experience managing P&L Ability to understand and interpret financial key figures Experience with acquisitions, including due diligence and integration, is a plus Potential to expand role to cover all operations in the Americas Main responsibilities: Ensure the implementation and development of a world-class safety culture aiming for zero accidents Ensure full compliance with all company policies, including EHS, social responsibility, legal, and accounting Manage staff, ensure customer satisfaction, drive business growth, and meet financial targets Develop and deploy strategies within the group strategy, in collaboration with the Head of the Business Unit and the executive team Translate strategy into goals, business plans, and budgets Support acquisition integration efforts Develop and implement operational performance roadmaps, and lead operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives Achieve financial and operational targets as per budgets and plans Build and lead an inclusive leadership team, fostering a culture of innovation, cooperation, and customer focus Collaborate with sales and R&D teams, ensuring integration within the group’s matrix organization Implement reporting systems for business monitoring, complying with group policies Represent the company legally and publicly, maintaining its reputation and interests We Offer: #J-18808-Ljbffr
