Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist /The Electrical Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, execution, and commissioning of electrical systems for infrastructure and operational projects. This role involves supporting project planning, risk management, and compliance while ensuring technical quality and operational efficiency. /Key Responsibilities: //Design and review of electrical systems, including medium and low voltage, lighting, grounding, emergency systems, UPS, generators, and M&E integration. /Validation of electrical designs, technical specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards (NOM, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.). /Supervision of electrical contractors, suppliers, and integrators to ensure quality and adherence to timelines. /Project planning and execution support, including development of technical scopes, schedules, and cost estimations for electrical works. /Monitoring of project progress, control of costs, and reporting of deviations. /Technical support and compliance, including provision of electrical expertise during implementations, commissioning, and operational readiness stages. /Conducting inspections, factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and supervising electrical commissioning protocols. /Risk and issue management, including identification and mitigation of electrical-specific risks (load capacity, protection, redundancy, safety hazards). /Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions. /Providing technical inputs on electrical feasibility, estimated investment, lifecycle costs, and technical alternatives for project business cases led by project managers. /Assuming general project engineer responsibilities for multidisciplinary projects (civil, mechanical, HVAC, infrastructure expansions) when required. /Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. /Maintaining knowledge of industry developments, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering. /Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. /Requirements: //Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering. /Desirable certifications: Electrical Safety Certification, PMP, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt. /3-5 years of experience in infrastructure project engineer roles or similar; preferably in logistics, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. /Advanced English language skills. /Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. /Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. /Proficiency in electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, or BIM), load analysis software (ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or similar — optional but valuable), and project management methodologies (PMI, Prince 2, Escala, Agil, etc.). /Familiarity with electrical drawings, panel schedules, single-line diagrams, cost estimation and budget control techniques, and reporting and dashboarding (Excel, Power BI or equivalent). /Benefits: //Opportunity to work on challenging projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. /Collaborative and supportive team culture. /Professional development opportunities and training programs. /Competitive salary and benefits package. /Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. /Other Information: /This role is open to individuals who are passionate about electrical engineering and project management.
