Nogales Plant Director

Leads and directs all plant operations to meet the performance goals of the business team and corporation through appropriate management, delegation and mentoring of plant departmental managers.Acts as ambassador of all Corporate initiatives and guidelines to a proper deployment and implementation in the Plant.Determines and administers all plant policies and ensures consistency with overall Corporate policies.Recommends and approves all major purchases of equipment, material and supplies for the facility.Reviews capital, expenses and material/facility usage to ensure plant operates in a cost effective manner.Provides direction and coordinates the preparation of the Plant budget.Determines and sets annual goals and objectives for all departments consistent with meeting business plan/metrics.Analyses the overall performance of the operation to target and implement actions to maximize results.Fosters a continuous improvement culture and leads team based operations.Leads safety and environmental efforts.Ensures quality standards are implemented and met.Works with sales and product management to optimize customer relations and plant productivity.Performs other related duties as required.Skills:Results driven with the ability to work in a high performance-manufacturing environment.Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks with excellent attention to detail.Ability to motivate, communicate and lead continuous improvement.Excellent analytical abilities.Good written and oral communication skills in both Spanish and English.Solid planning, leadership and administrative skills.Good understanding of business principles and practices and ability to apply themRepresents the company in Legal questions.Participates in activities and projects of continuous improvement in the company.Promotes the communication within the company in constant form.Participates in implementations of new projects for the company.And all the activities that is assigned and is related to the functions of the department.Engineering Degree or equivalent.7-10 years manufacturing management experience.Project management experienceKnowledge of applicable environmental Regulations.General knowledge of legal Requirements related to the operation of the automotive industry.Knowledge of the Objectives of Quality of the OrganizationMeeting skillsProven ability to work in a team settingNegotiation ability with internal/external customerProblem solving skillsStrong ability for change managementISO 14001:2015IATF 16949:2016ISO 45001*Prysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
