Partner with the best As a Field Specialist you will be responsible for technical direction and safe site leadership of onsite installation, operational maintenance, testing and startup activities on Centrifugal Compressors and Steam Turbines in accordance with engineering best practice and contractual work scope requirements primarily within Mexico and Latin America As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for: Having strong Functional / Technical expertise, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Teamworking skills, with specialization in Steam Turbine and Centrifugal Compressor products. Receiving and following established tasks under minimal supervision according to the Maintenance or Installation activity schedule on customer equipment in the field. Collaborating actively with other crew members in the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of customer equipment at customer sites. Executing specific tasks by following the Site Quality Checklists provided for the agreed scope of work, and interacting with customer representatives and site teams on routine matters such as coordination meetings. Providing all required records of activities completed at the customer site to the Baker Hughes IET Supervisor, while promoting and maintaining good team relations. Executing all responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors, following all applicable service processes and procedures; performing other related duties as required; and conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality, and Compliance). Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor Degree is preferred. Industry experience and turbines product line training required. Have at least 5 years'+ of experience in field service or maintenance position. .Know maintenance procedures for Steam Turbines and Compressors Have participated in Minor/Major outages, commissioning, and installation. Know about L1 service - Boroscopies. Have the ability to understand and implement technical drawings. Have troubleshooting experience. Have availability to travel 80% of time. Be fluent in English and Spanish. Be able to work offshore and overseas Have T BOSIET/THUET certificates are a plus.
