Electrical Design Specialist

**Design Engineer Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our Product Development Team in Guadalajara. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing innovative products such as range of Connectors, Busbars and Battery Packs for Electric Vehicles (EVs). **Key Responsibilities:** Create detailed 2D or 3D designs using CAD software for complex projects. Collaborate with Application Engineers and customers to develop concept designs and redesigns from RFQ to Production launch. Establish project timelines and deliverables with team members. Lead design review meetings and record results. Provide technical drawing assistance to manufacturing teams to ensure design requirements are met. Support build-to-print projects according to company standards. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Solidworks or CATIA V5 software. Ability to analyze data and situations to come up with creative solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience in designing EV components, especially connectors and battery packs, is preferred.
