Deduction Resolution Specialist

Job Summary This role involves researching open invoices and processing pending claims in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with company guidelines. The position requires collaboration with various departments to resolve deductions and credits efficiently.Main Responsibilities * Review and process deductions on assigned locations or customers within established timelines and in accordance with company policies and procedures.* Obtain necessary documentation by requesting from vendors, customer portals, or other available means to ensure proper support for credit approval without interruptions or delays.* Match credits entered weekly and prepare offset requests based on Miscellaneous Debits.* Partner with Sales and Credit & Collections teams to review open deductions, including chargebacks and miscellaneous debits, to determine the proper course of action for removal from the aging report.* Download customer checks and review items needing research of PO# to avoid chargeback creation where possible and needed.* Prepare status reports based on the Open Deductions Report on a weekly basis and/or as needed by updating and maintaining a daily progress Excel sheet on pending credits and follow-ups performed with sales.* Collaborate with Sales, General Managers, A/R Credit and Collections teams to enter credits in the ERP system and follow them to final resolution.Requirements * Proficiency in English and Spanish (reading and writing).* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).* College degree or equivalent experience. * Account Receivable experience. * Familiarity with Oracle and SAP systems. * Excellent analytical skills.
