BlueGrace Logistics, a U.S. based transportation management company, has opened its first international office in Mexico and we’re looking for Logistics Operations Planner to join our team in Guadalajara!Logistics Operations Planner are responsible for the daily support of contracted clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention by way of freight operations support freight tactics. In this role, you’ll execute on the frontline service that BlueGrace provides, therefore getting finished goods to store shelves, raw materials to manufacturers, medical equipment to hospitals, and more!The objective is to produce high quality visibility through customer reports, to provide timely responses and case resolution for customers, and to provide exceptional freight operations support. The typical freight services include shipment creation, editing, tracking, document delivery, daily reporting, and professional communication to both customers and carriers.What does a typical day look like?Proactively tracking shipments and recommending solutions for delayed shipmentsComplete daily tracking reports for assigned customersServing inbound customer requests from designated high freight spend accountsCommunicating with carriers on behalf of the customersAnswering phones and responding to emailsIdentify the best transit solution based on the specific shipment requirementsBuilding strong relationships with customersDevelop and Maintain relationships with local terminals in efforts to reduce service failuresScheduling pickups and delivery appointmentsActive communication with Operations Manager regarding all potential services gaps or opportunities for process improvementFollowing up on all unconfirmed or rejected pickup requestsMaintain detailed and organized documentation of all service failuresWhat are we seeking?A bachelor's degree in supply chain/Logistics/International Business or related is preferred but not required.Available for the next schedules: After Hours: 1PM to 10PM, Monday to Friday (3PM EST to 12AM EST) Weekend Afterhours: 1PM to 10PM, Saturday to Wednesday (3PM EST to 12AM EST) Weekend Shift: 6AM to 3PM, Saturday to Wednesday (8AM EST to 5PM EST) Regular Shift: 9AM to 6PM, MON to FRI (11AM EST to 8PM EST)Superior Customer Service skills including the ability to recognize the needs of the customer and effectively address those needs through active communicationFluent in EnglishResumes must be in EnglishExperience working in a CRM and TMS system a perkExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to calculate percentages, formulas and use spatial reasoningProficient in ExcelWhat’s in it for you?Health and Life Insurance options availableSavings FundFood VouchersAn award-winning culture with unique perks, including Monthly Lunch & Learns, “Thank You” Lunch Provided each Friday, DEI Program
