In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of SSD device drivers through rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-driven, and adept at problem-solving, with a strong technical background in hardware and software validation.Key Responsibilities:- Validation & Debugging: Validate and debug SSD firmware by executing robust software validation environments. - Root Cause Analysis: Analyze validation results, determine root causes of failures, and recommend or implement corrective actions to enhance product reliability. - Standards & Procedures: Develop and maintain validation standards and procedures to ensure consistent testing processes. - Continuous Improvement: Assess and employ methods to improve quality and efficiency in product release processes. - Documentation & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, unblock, and maintain execution-related equipment and documentation with a strong focus on process efficiency.Behavioral Traits:- Detail-Oriented Process Improver: Critical thinker who naturally identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize work processes, with a focus on simplification, standardization, and automation. - Self-Directed Initiator: A proactive individual who takes ownership and drives productivity, change, and outcomes without needing external prompting. - Collaborative Partner: Builds and leverages cross-functional relationships to integrate ideas, data, and insights, driving continuous improvement in execution. - Analytical Problem Solver: Goes beyond surface-level fixes, identifying root causes, evaluating optimal solutions, and recommending comprehensive upgrades to prevent future issues. - Dedicated Achiever: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, committed to ensuring projects are completed on time and meet all necessary regulations and expectations.Must-Have Qualifications:- Experience: - 2+ years of experience in hardware specification and assembly, particularly with servers. - 2+ years of experience with Linux commands. - 2+ years of experience with Windows commands. - Technical Proficiency: - Understanding of SSD architecture and device driver functionalities. - Experience in developing and debugging firmware in a testing environment. - Server and Testing Experience: Hands-on experience with server hardware and software testing. - Linux Proficiency: Understanding and hands-on experience with Linux systems.Preferred Qualifications:- Customer Support Experience: Familiarity with supporting customers in a technical capacity, particularly in hardware or software troubleshooting. - Python Skills: Ability to write and debug scripts for automation and testing purposes. - Agile Methods: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
