Transportation Industry Sales Professional

Job Overview: This role requires experience in the Transportation Industry. We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and manage daily sales activities. Coach sales team and new hires through their first 90 days, focusing on performance objectives and company processes. Monitor, review and provide live-coaching on calls daily, ensuring staff meet daily activity goals and comply with company policies. Routinely coach and identify areas of improvement, providing feedback and role practice for development. Provide visibility into progress, ensure compliance and approve pricing decisions. Assist in clearing obstacles preventing staff from achieving goals, direct and prioritize daily activities. Communicate with Senior Sales Managers and/or Leadership on individual areas of development and progress. About the Role: Previous sales managerial experience is required. Demonstrated ability to manage staff, schedules and performance is essential. Proven ability to develop sales professionals is key to success. Previous transportation planning and/or traffic coordination background is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Strong presentation skills over the phone, through written communication, and in person are required. Ability to set and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
